Reading: Paulina Springs Books in Sisters, OR
The high desert of Oregon also feels like home. My dad grew up in Lakeview, just north of the Nevada border in Southern Oregon. Lakeview was once home to uranium mining and extraction, which I write about in Group Living and Other Recipes. I’m so glad to be reading in Sisters, in a motion towards his home, and sharing this book on the east of the Cascades.

So much of my book takes place in Port Townsend, so I am overjoyed to have a reading there. My uncle Doug, who has a large role in the book, will read one of his poems, as well. The book will come to life! Please join us.

We’re going to live it up—with you!
